Eva and I have been on hiatus for a little over a year now but now my friends, it’s time to say goodbye. Within the next few hours I will be giving her back to her maker (aka Volkswagen). I just want to take this opportunity to say thank you to Eva for all the wonderful experiences we shared. From Massachusetts to California, she’s literally seen all of America.
She’s partied in New Orleans’ French Quarter (she also ate quite a few beignets too), had drinks at Austin’s South by Southwest music festival, she saw the Hollywood sign in Los Angeles, and lets not forget her roots as a New England native. In her first winter, she saw more than 27 inches of snow (in January alone). 8 months later, she experienced the hot and humid record breaking summer in Austin, Texas.
Eva is a fighter. Eva is my friend. Eva, you will be missed.
