So in all the excitement of coming in second at trivia last night, I totally forgot to express my condolences to the Soprano family for their loss.
I only heard about James Gandolfini’s untimely death last night at the farmer’s market. Like any Italian he was in Rome on holiday in the middle of June. Let’s be honest, that would give anyone a heart attack — it’s hot there and he was not a small guy. That wasn’t nice: my bad.
I don’t typically keep my Google news on the headlines — I like to keep it on the World news tab because there’s a lot of interesting stuff going on in the world right now. One of my old advisors (ferraro1971.wordpress.com — his blog, which I would suggest you all read because Vinnie is, in a word, awesome) from undergrad has sort of resparked my interest in actually keeping up in what’s going on in the world. This helped last night at trivia too, which is just a little extra treat.
Tomorrow I should be back on my game in terms of posting. Thank you for your patience.
In memory of Tony, I have two videos I just found on YouTube that I’d like to share:
