Oh man, road tripping is exhausting sometimes! I’m having a ton of fun. So much fun that I have not been able to update the blog. I’m posting from my phone so today’s is going to be a short one.
Las Vegas was great! I’ve never been so there was this twinkle in my eye whenever I turned around. We stayed in the Tropicana Hotel and it was right across the street from Hooters and the MGM Grand. There’s three of us right now. When we got back from dinner me and one of the guys went exploring to see if we could ride the roller coaster in the New York, New York Hotel. It was 14$ per ticket so we passed on that one. That hotel was a zoo. I guess it’s because it’s kind of iconic.
My one regret with Las Vegas is that I didn’t get to take a picture in front of the Aria Resort and Casino. Also, I didn’t get to see a pro.
We’re now in Albuquerque. Last night we had New Mexican food, which is basically Mexican so I’m not sure what makes it different. It was delicious though. I got chicken stuffed in a sopapilla. It’s basically like a hollowed out fried sweet roll. It was very yummy. We got here kind of late because we lost an hour from Vegas and we stopped for lunch in Flagstaff. Basically we ate dinner, went to a brewery, and went to bed.
I love Flagstaff. Actually, I love Arizona but I always have mixed feelings about being there. I guess that’s for another time. Anyways, lunch in Flagstaff was decent- nothing to write home about. Had they used green apples in my crepes instead of red ones, I would have probably written home about them.
Ok, I think I’m going to go and wake up the lovebirds (aka the guys I’m with) because I’ve been up for about an hour.
Hopefully, I’ll be coming to you from a computer next time.
